C4d set 13

Tons of blue in this set of c4ds. What connects each individual image is that the materials used were all the same. The process of creating the figures were a bit different.

Anyway, hope you enjoy this set.

Signature Set 1

This is a series I probably should have started long ago. Creating forum signatures was how I was introduced into graphic design. It all started on a friend’s forum. He had created a section for original forum signatures. I thought I’d give a try. After a few attempts, he gave me a few tips and tutorials to use so that I could improve.

Here’s a few of my first ones:

Cloud Brushes

A few years ago, the thing that got me into graphic design was signature design. One technique that I learned was to smudge the background and other objects into the image. One of the effects that could occur was that the image would become cloudy. A few days ago, I thought about using the effect to virtually create clouds out of nothing but brushes. After discovering that my experiment worked, I decided to create a brush set out of the multiple clouds I had created. I ended up creating twenty of them. The clouds are between 200 and 600 pixels in width. Enjoy!

C4d set 12

I’m a bit behind in posting my c4ds, so hopefully I can catch up by the end of the year. Today I showcase some abstract c4ds from when I started getting comfortable with making them. They are immensely different; they were mostly just me experimenting, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

And as a heads-up, the next set will be in the same style as the last in this set.

Drive Nice Poster

This was created quite a while ago for a school project. One of our assignments was to produce a video for the school’s annual film festival, either individually or as a group. My group decided to enter a PSA we had created earlier as an entry for a local contest about the dangers of driving while texting. The next assignment was to create individual posters for the video we submitted. This is what I designed.

The background was created using the grunge brushes I created along with a few filters. The title text was edited by using splatter brushes and the wind filter. The phone is my phone, taken by a classmate. The whole thing was put together using Indesign, though for web use, I recreated the image in Photoshop.

Some more abstract c4ds made using similar techniques. Not as happy with this set than I have been with others.

Substance Wallpaper

One of my hobbies in Photoshop is to just experiment with ideas and the plethora of tools available in the application. And when you’ve created as many c4ds as I have, you just have to see how you can incorporate a few of them into a wallpaper.
And that’s just what I’m making available for download, today. A “Substance” Wallpaper, using two of my many c4ds, a pattern that I created, and a few adjustment layers. Enjoy!

C4d set 10

These three abstract c4ds were made using similar methods. Mainly experimenting with using perspective to create more interesting abstract c4ds.

Curve Vector

I love experimenting in Illustrator just to see what outcomes may result. However, my experiments are much more fulfilling if I can share them with others. This simple vector was an experiment with the blend tool. Enjoy.
