Seamless Texture: Light Spots

Messing around in Photoshop can create some interesting looking textures. I forget exactly how this texture was created, but it does create a nice lighting effect with some depth.

Seamless Texture: Sci-fi Fiber

While messing with colors, this eerie look instantly reminded me of a scheme one mght find in a science fiction movie. As usual, this seamless texture can be tiled and is great for backgrounds. Enjoy!

Seamless Texture: Dark Bubbles

This texture came out interestingly. It started out as a texture full of bubbles, but a few manipulations gave a hollow, eerie look to the texture. I hope you can find some use to it.

Seamless Texture: Dark Fiber

While messing in Photoshop, trying different things for textures, I experimented with a few filters here and there. The end result of this was a fibrous texture made completely from scratch. I really love how this one turned out, mostly due to the detail and depth in it.

Seamless Texture: Dark Lights

Here’s a nice, clean texture of faint lights blurred diagonally. Pretty subtle, and could work in a web 2.0 design.

Seamless Texture: Red Lights

Today’s seamless texture is an image of blurred lights in a vertical fashion. Quite simple, but I’m sure there’s a use for it out there somewhere. Could do for a nice website background, I’d think.

Seamless Texture: Metallic

I’ve just learned a thing or two about creating seamless textures, and I wish to share my experimental textures with everyone.

For those who don’t know, a seamless texture is a texture that can be tiled smoothly without any disruptions or “seams.” One common use for seamless textures is as a website background, though there are many other uses, such as video games or computer generated movies.

Here we have a simple metallic texture. Sure to come in handy somewhere. Enjoy!
